Random: Barefoot in the Park + wine & bruschetta

Hey there!

It’s been quite a while, right?! Didn’t show my face around here last month, and as I always say, time is really flying by. We had a full apartment last month, with my mother-in-law and her friend coming to visit, and we really had a great time…little trips, really good food made by the hubby, walks around Berlin (if you follow me on Instagram brunaiglezias, you know what I’m talking about 🙂 )….it’s crazy to say this, but sometimes I forget that I live in Berlin, I love going for a walk at Unter den Linden (close to the Brandenburg gate), Potsdamer Platz, Kurfürstendamm…but we rarely go to these places just to walk around, we almost never leave our neighbourhood, Neukölln, we should definitely explore this city more!

But changing the subject, these days at night, I was at home alone (not a Kevin McCallister situation…hahaha), and I was browsing Netflix to chose a movie. I don’t know why, but lately I’m into watching some oldies and some 90’s movies. So I landed on the new arrival, Barefoot in the Park, a 1967 movie with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. Now some of you may be well acquainted with this movie, but I’ve never heard of it before. I already like Jane Fonda a lot, I think she’s super funny, also, I really enjoy the Netflix series with her, Grace and Frankie. Since I was a little hungry, I decided to fix myself some bruschettas, and a glass of wine 😀

Best decision ever! I really had fun watching that movie, Jane Fonda was so funny, it was the first time that I saw her that young in a movie, Robert Redford as well. By the way, how awesome is the movie poster?! I love these kind of things! I really liked her character in the movie, Corie, she always looked on the bright sides of things (definitely have a thing or two to learn with her), even if that means living in a sixth-floor apartment with no elevator. But I guess this is a pretty common thing around here, because my building also has no elevator, but luckily (maybe, because I would like to know what it’s like to live on a rooftop apartment), I live on the ground floor.

When Rafael arrived home, the movie was almost over, and I was laughing at the TV. He always says that I laugh at the dumbest things (sometimes I really do), but I can assure you that this movie is really funny, and it deserves to be watched a lot! So my friends, if you’re planning to do some Netflix ‘n’ Chill tonight, like I am, chose Barefoot in the Park, and open a bottle of wine and you will have a good time!

Have a lovely weekend!

xx
