Berry Clafoutis

If you are planning to throw a dinner party this weekend, I know just the right and very, very easy dessert for you! Berry clafoutis! I first became acquainted with clafoutis in the beginning of the year, but it was actually a salty version with zucchini, but it was still very easy to make. I came across this recipe after looking up dessert recipes that were easy to make, both times that I did it, I didn’t have much time in my hands. And may I say that it may be simple, but it’s very delicious and light…the perfect dessert for us, because we eat quite a lot…hahahaha!

To tell you the truth, I had to modify the recipe, the original version is with cherries, but since I couldn’t find them around here, I decided to use blackberries and raspberries, in the same amount that the recipe was asking for cherries. For the batter, I followed the recipe. Now, I don’t know if the cherry version is good, but I can tell you that all of our friends loved the berry clafoutis, it was a success…thank God! For a person that spends a lot of time in the kitchen, I am very afraid of changing anything in the recipes that I find, because I don’t want anything going wrong….crazy, right?! ha!

All you need is 30 minutes to put it in the oven, and wait another 30 for it to bake…piece of cake, right?! Or should I say piece of clafoutis?! (worst joke ever!!!).

Sorry for the pictures, the lighting in the kitchen is not the best, I usually manage, but I don’t know what happened this day, I couldn’t take good pictures, but I assure you that this dessert is delicious!!

Do you also have a go-to dessert?

Hope you enjoy!

Have a wonderful weekend!

xx
